Inspired by what else? The G clef, more specifically Wolf's homage to his siblings, 3 of whom went on to long careers as professional musicians. Also to his father, who instilled his love of music (disregarding his loathing of practice). Shown here in Swiss blue topaz with amethyst  accent.
